How does a HKHome visit actually work?

HKHome (港到家) arranges door-to-door home services in Hong Kong. You do not queue at a shop. Share the district, estate, floor and the job; support confirms a time window and a price range before a technician is dispatched. Work does not start until that quote is agreed, and a larger scope pauses for your approval.
Coverage follows Hong Kong's 18 districts across Hong Kong Island, Kowloon and the New Territories. District, estate and building pages record access notes such as visitor registration, cargo lifts and walk-up floors so the visit is planned before anyone travels.
Jobs that touch fixed electrical installations should be checked against the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department register of registered electrical workers. Before you book any home service, the Consumer Council's education materials are a useful check on quotes, fees and cancellation terms.
When you book, share the district or estate name, block and floor, whether there is a cargo lift, any visitor registration rule, and what the fault or job looks like. Clearer details produce a more reliable time window and price range, and fewer wasted trips.
If the site differs from the booking — for example a cylinder swap turns into a warped door frame — the technician pauses, explains the new fee and timeline, and only continues with your approval.
Hong Kong is divided into 18 districts, with each district's District Officer (DO) representing the Government at the district level.
